Bike Bump Stop

Machined, welded, and powder coated bump stops for taking the front wheel of a motorcycle and allowing instand support while the vehicle is strapped down.

Available in steel or aluminium, however the aluminium version has proven to be able to take even the heaviest tourer. Powder coating or painting can occur in any colour or your choice to suit a trade stand, or company colours.

If the bumpstops are in a van on or a trailor then after pushing the bike into the bump stop you are hands free to tie the bike down, safe in the knowledge that the bike will not move in any direction.

The stands have been tested over the last 5 years with everything from Pan Europeans to a 1919 Sunbeam.

Side Stand Relay Bypass

The Zane Era laverda's all share a starter relay with a 6 pin connector. This takes input from the stop switch, side stand switch, and the neutral switch, and supplies power to the ECU if conditions are correct.

The bypass;

  1. Fixes a voltage drop which stops the bike from starting.
  2. Stops the relay cutting power to the ECU if you hit a bump and the side stand wobbles.

The bypass uses the correct AMP connector, along with the correct water sheilds, and is crimped using the official AMP tool.

No soldering, crimping, or electrical knowledge required. Simply remove the right hand side cover, unplug the old, and plug in the bypass.

The Stop switch still works, the Neutral light still comes on, and the Side stand LED in the rev counter still illuminates.

Ergal Formula Footrests

CNC machined to be an exact copy of the beautiful Formula footrests. This includes the cam adjustment for both heel and toe.

All parts are made of Ergal, all parts annodized black, or finished in a non slick crosshatch.

All rotating parts use Igus Igol bushings, a super tough bearing surface used in harsh environment industrial applications. These bearings are actually lubricated by water. 

We can aslo supply replacement parts for existing Formula footrests. 

We have crashed the race bike a few times with these formula style footrests on, and we have yet to brake them (See Footrest End Bungs below).

Footrests End Bungs

Turned from a solid lump of black nylon, these end bungs have worked extremely well in keeping the race bike from getting road rash.

The footrests and handle bar end are strong enough to keep most of the bike off the ground, but these replaceable bungs stop the footpegs from getting trashed.

EBC Brake Disks & Pads

EBC steel disks have tremendous feel, warm up quickly, and dont seem to fade. Each disk comes with a spare set of bobbins, and happens to be anodized a fetching shade of blue.

EBC's GFA race pads grip like no other road pad, but they take time to warm up. Excellent for "spirited" riding, track days, or full racing, expect to brake 50 yards early when you hit the motorway off ramp. 

EBC's HH rated pads offer most of the bite of the GFA race pads, but they bite well even from cold.

Slip-on Exhaust Hangers

Replacement aftermarket slipon end cans, be they Blue Flame or any other, are suspended in a hoop bracket. The original Laverda exhausts bolted on at the backet. The original brackets are therefore no use for new exhausts.

A second problem is that the screws used to attach the original hangers to the exhausts have nearly always rusted in and need to be drilled out. This damages the original exhausts if you should even want to put them back on.

Our alternative aluminium hangers were originally designed for the race bike, but have now completed 6000 miles on the test road bike without problems.

ECU Diagnostic light

The Magnetti Marelli IAW16M ECU has a three pin plug for diagnostic purposes.

If the Fuel injection controller cannot see one of its sensors, or the readings from it do not fall within a valid range, then the ECU will flag an error. The errors are then sent as pulses down the diagnostics line. 

Our kit consists of a matching female AMP connector, a visible warning light of the correct resistance, and toggle switch to allow the fault codes to be cleared.

Decals

[Product Image]

 

We have most Laverda decals, including fairing, rear seat hump (including above rear light), and tank. What we dont have we can reproduce.

We have a limited number of original stickers available, but the reproduction we have made are of better quality, and seem to survive longer without lacquer being applied.

We also have stickers, and transfers from the race team, and from many leading sponsors.

If you want to make your bike look like a race bike (and not necessarily ours), then we have a vast variety of transfer available.

Decals available as sets now being made for later in 2004.
